![]() ![]() I did a cursory google search to see if anyone else has had a similar problem and found forums, videos, and pictures of people with both Dodge Durango's and late model Dodge charger's having the same issue as me. I unfortunately can't afford to replace the light at this time because of the price. ![]() I have been told by my dealership that the repair will be between $1000 and $1400 dollars because the entire assembly has to be done together because it is manufactured that way. My main concern is that it will worsen and cause either safety incidents because the lights can't be seen at night, or will cause me to be cited by the police for lights being out. The vehicle wasn't moving, it was simply parked in my driveway or in the lot outside of where I work. We have been having heavy rains the last 2 weeks and I noticed that the light began filling with water again. (it did within a month) the extended warranty I purchased does not cover this. They replaced it then because I noticed the issue the day I bought the car and they offered to fix the problem on their dime should it worsen. I bought my vehicle 2 years ago and my dealership replaced the entire tail light assembly because of this issue and now it is happening again. The rear tail lights of my 2014 Durango are filling with water because of bad seals and the led strip inside is shorting out.
